Dawn Van Beck

Hello there and welcome. I love words, people, and coffee! I'm an author and speaker with a passion to help us hear God's whispers above the roar of the world.

My love of stories began as a little girl pretending to be a librarian, leading story time to my imaginary patrons. I've served as a newsletter contributor and editor for a professional organization and published my first magazine article in "West Coast Woman", in which I shared my experience of living with a Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis.

Professionally, I hold a degree in Human Resources with a concentration in Gerontology, which has afforded me a long, rewarding career advocating for vulnerable adults. I am a member of the Advanced Writers and Speakers Association and The Write Practice.

I have traveled the country with my husband, with whom I make my home in sunny Florida. I enjoy rummaging through antique shops and posses a quirky affinity for all things office supplies. My husband and I share our companionship with our feisty miniature Dachshund, Lilly, who claims her spot as the head of our household.
