Larkin Powell earned his Ph.D. in ecology at the University of Georgia and is Director and Professor in the School of Natural Resources at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Dr. Powell's research program has focused on landscape dynamics, animal demography and movements, and decisions made by private landowners. He has written over 150 peer-reviewed journal articles in addition to a slate of books that he has co-authored, authored, or edited. Larkin is a Fellow in The Wildlife Society and was awarded the Excellence in Wildlife Education Award by The Wildlife Society in 2019.
