Everett Taylor

"EveRett" Taylor is the pen name for the husband-and-wife co-creators of children’s books and founders of the website + sustainable eco-boutique Living Porpoisefully.

As Eve spent over a decade teaching marine science to kids of all ages, she dreamed of reaching beyond the classroom to share a love for the sea + connect others to it too.

Sharing ocean love became her purpose (well…porpoise)! She teamed up with her (mer)man, Rett, and together they’ve created an online eco-boutique, 5+ ocean children’s books, and tons of educational resources + DIY crafts that reach around the globe.

Their creations have been featured globally by schools, libraries + organizations including the Smithsonian, Four Seasons Resorts, The Children's Museum of the Treasure Coast, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), and more.

Rett lovingly hand-draws each scene with pencil and paper, and then both he and Eve hand-paint the drawings with acrylic paint in every color of the rainbow.

EveRett's heartfelt mission is to connect others with the ocean, uplift with positive vibes, educate and inspire wonder for the sea. They love beach walking, kayaking, paddle boarding, shelling, whale watching, snorkeling, and building sand castles.
