Eric Horridge

It has been a privilege to be able to write as many books as I have to date.

I am extremely lucky to have had the opportunity to do so and for that, I thank my wife for her patience, love and understanding.

Passionate about the Sport of kings, especially jumps racing, I have been fortunate to be able to put my interest into words and create stories that I hope people enjoy.

Mike Cannon is the main character in the stories I write and is someone who I admire. He represents myself in a way but also all those who want to do the best they can in life ...which is all any of us could ask.

My own story is simple. I love music, all sport and writing.

I have lived and worked on three continents and attained my career goals before having to retire due to a cancer diagnosis.

In mid-2014 I wrote my first book (Death on the Course) since then I have lucky enough to add to that series...long may it continue.

Despite my health I am able to enjoy my other passion, that of music, by presenting two regular music shows on local community radio.

I share my life with my wife Rebecca and our miniature schnauzer dog, Annie.

I have two grown sons that I am extremely proud of, each having found their place in the world.
