M. E. Maki

Mary E. Maki grew up in the Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York. Her books are set in the Finger Lakes, Virginia, and New York's Adirondacks. She is currently working on two books, different from her Caitlyn Jamison series.

As well as writing mysteries, Mary is a family historian. She has produced family monographs, and transcribed her great-grandmother's history of the Jacksonville (NY) Community United Methodist Church. She has played an integral part on the team that produced three volumes of the Newtown (CT) Oral History Project, the Ulysses (NY) Historical Society Oral History Project, and the Newfield, NY Historical Society Oral History Project.

Mary is a member of Sisters in Crime Connecticut Chapter, and the Central Rappahannock Regional Library’s Fiction Critique writing group.
