Julie Atherton MBA CFCIM has spent thirty years as a strategist, she asks one question: what happens when social media stops being a marketing channel and becomes part of how a business runs?
She has written two books: Social Media Strategy, now in its third edition, has been translated into multiple languages and is used by business leaders and on university reading lists and professional marketing qualifications worldwide. B2B Social Selling Strategy is about building commercial relationships on social without turning a sales team into broadcasters.
They are built on the frameworks Julie uses in her own consultancy, Small Wonder: the ABC Social Media Model, the Interdependent Brand Framework and the Social First Customer Journey Model, all tested with clients.
She has trained more than a thousand marketers and guest lectures on the MBA programmes at Exeter and Bath.
Her experience ranges from startups to global brands including Nissan, ITV, ASOS, Mott MacDonald, Cambridge University Press and St John Ambulance.
Julie writes the way she teaches: practically, and on the assumption that you have to go and make this work yourself.
