Our mission :

Osoul is a non-profit making organization that aims to prepare, develop and improve the contents of Islamic dawah materials in many world languages, with a clear vision and to high academic standards.

Our slogan :

Making Islam available to millions.

Our method :

We start with the Qur’anic injunction: “Call people to the path of your Lord with wisdom and goodly exhortation,” (16: 125) and the verse in which God describes the mission of the Prophet Muhammad (May Allah exalt his mention, and render him and his household safe and secure from every derogatory thing): “We have sent you as a manifestation of Our grace towards all the worlds.” (21: 107)

We are motivated by the desire to earn God’s reward as outlined in the Prophet’s advice to Ali ibn Abu Talib, when he said to him on the Day of the Battle of Khaybar: “If God guides one person [to the truth] through your effort it is better for you than the best that this world can offer.” (Related by al-Bukhari, hadith No. 3,009 and Muslim, hadith No. 2,406)

Our objectives :

- Develop a strategic perspective for dawah material in various languages.

- Improve the quality of the dawah material available.

- Establish standards to evaluate the content and quality of dawah work.

- Develop an information system for the management of Islamic dawah; and undertake studies and research to improve the quality of its content.

- Establish a centre of expertise to provide training and advice relating to the contents of dawah work.
