Caroline K. Mackenzie

Caroline K. Mackenzie read Classics at Pembroke College, Cambridge, during which time she also studied for a summer at the British School at Athens. After Cambridge, she completed a postgraduate course at York law school with distinction. Caroline then practised as a Private Client solicitor in London for over a decade, including as a Partner in a Lincoln's Inn firm, and had her work on Trusts for the Disabled acknowledged by the Senior Master of the Queen’s Bench Division as ‘a milestone in this area of law’.

Caroline subsequently pursued a teaching career, first as a law lecturer at a London law school and then as Head of Classics at a school in Sevenoaks. Further studies included an MA with distinction in Classical Art & Archaeology at King's College, London.

Founder of Classics Club, an online reading group for all ages and backgrounds, Caroline also teaches Greek and Latin to students across the UK and the US.

Caroline lives on an old apple farm with her husband and their two cats.
