Steve Walsh (1950 - ) was born and raised in Southern California.
After graduation from high school, he enlisted as an Infantryman in the California National Guard, and later graduated from OCS, and Special Forces Officer School, where he served in the 19th, 12th, and 3rd Special Forces Groups.
Over the course of his lifetime Steve served twenty-nine years in military uniform, with twenty-three years on active duty as a United States Army chaplain.
As a chaplain, he traveled the world caring for the spiritual needs of soldiers and their families. Along the way he participated in the Panama Invasion, Gulf War I, Haiti Invasion, and two tours in Iraq.
Since his retirement from the U.S. Army, Steve has focused his ministry upon the aging and elderly.
Today he lives in the Texas Hill Country with his family, and their two dogs.
He is a graduate of the University of Southern California (B.A.), Pepperdine University (M.B.A), Fuller Theological Seminary (M.Div.), Columbia Theological Seminary (D.Min.), and the United States Army Command and General Staff College.
