Anna Hedworth

Anna Hedworth is cook, author and owner of Cook House and Long Friday, award winning restaurants in Newcastle upon Tyne. Previously an architect she changed careers in 2014, opened her first restaurant ‘Cook House’ that year and subsequent larger premises in 2018. Her first book Recipes and Stories from Cook House was published in September 2019. The book was named one of the Top 10 Food Books of 2019 by the Sunday Times, the restaurant was named Restaurant of the Year 2019 by the Financial Times and has been awarded a Michelin Plate yearly since 2021. Long Friday opened to much acclaim in October 2021.
