Steve Loopstra

Steve Loopstra has served Jesus Christ in pastoral and missionary ministry for more than four decades. Ordained with the Christian & Missionary Alliance in 1979, he has ministered from North America to Europe and now to Brazil, where he continues to serve alongside his wife, Lane, through teaching, writing, discipleship, and encouraging the Church.

Throughout his ministry, one conviction has remained at the center of his heart:

Jesus Christ is coming again, and His Church must be prepared for the return of the Bridegroom.

That conviction shapes every book, Bible study, devotional, prayer guide, seminar, children's resources, and video he produces.

Steve believes that biblical truth is not simply meant to increase knowledge but to transform lives. Whether writing about prayer, revival, discipleship, sanctification, perseverance, or the believer's identity in Christ, his desire is to help men and women know Jesus more deeply, walk more faithfully with Him, and become increasingly prepared for the day they will meet their Bridegroom.

Steve also hosts the Portuguese devotional series Bem-Vindo à Mesa, where he invites viewers to gather around God's Word and discover its timeless truths in a warm, pastoral, and conversational setting. Through Your Servant in Christ Ministries (YSICM), he continues to develop biblical resources for pastors, churches, families, and children, seeking to strengthen believers and encourage spiritual maturity around the world.

Steve is married to Orilane ("Lane") and lives in the Recife region of Brazil.

His prayer is that every page he writes, every message he preaches, every video he records, and every resource he develops, will point people to Jesus Christ and help prepare His Bride for His glorious return.
