Chris Distler

Chris Distler was born and raised in Fairfield County, Connecticut. He graduated from Gettysburg College in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. Although he has worked as a data scientist for all of his professional career, in his spare time he is an avid seeker of challenges and adventures. Since college, he has hiked the Appalachian Trail, completed two marathons, raced up the stairs of the Empire State Building and run with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain.

Zoo See Me! is the first book that Chris has published. He wanted to write a story that was fun and educational for children, but also entertaining for parents. With the help of his very talented illustrator friend, they brought the story to life. Chris hopes that Zoo See Me! will be a book that children can continue to enjoy and learn from as they grow older.

Chris currently lives in Denver, Colorado with his partner, Ryan, and black lab mix, Finn.
