Tom Bruno

Tom escaped from Normal (Illinois) at 17 to attend the U.S. Air Force Academy. Perpetrating numerous mischievous exploits at the Academy, he still managed to graduate with honors in 1985 with an Electrical Engineering degree.

His adventure continued as a navigator in the low-level, high-velocity, RF-4 Reconnaissance jet in the Far East, writing stories in the cracks of time.

After the Air Force, while working toward his master’s degree in English, he won the coveted Bazzanella Literary Award for short fiction.

The marriage adventure began in 1989 with Elsa, and together they moved to Woomera, Australia where they owned and operated the first Papa’s! restaurant. With the bug for business, they returned to Colorado where Tom started a vending machine business

In 2017, Tom and his co-author Rob Storey published the first four episodes of Zotikas: Sparks of Revolution available on Amazon through A15 Publishing. That same year, The Ghost in the Political Machine, was produced at the Rialto Theater, authored by Tom and scored by his son Lucas.

The Valedictorian and the Sorcerer, a full dramatic musical, was produced the next year, again written by Tom with music by Lucas.

The expedition continues as Tom writes and runs the second Papa’s! deco-punk restaurant, and Elsa builds their businesses in Colorado Springs and Florence with their three highly talented boys.

Ongoing projects: Tom co-hosts the Write Time Radio show with author Lynn Donovan, broadcast on KRLN 1400 out of Caņon City. Also, his new multi-author, fantasy romance series, Beyond the VEIL, is scheduled to be published in October 2019.
