Matt Hallock

Matt Hallock has been teaching, coaching, tutoring, mentoring, and being used by God to transform high school students for the last ten or so years…but who’s keeping track? He was also a high school kid trying to make his way in the world once.

Believe it or not, Matt doesn’t love the SAT (though he is very good at it). But he loves the young men and women whom God has put in his path. He teaches students not only the practical things of academics, college essays, and SAT tests, but also the way more important things of God’s Kingdom, how to experience his presence, how to truly hear his voice, and how to see supernatural miracles in everyday life.

In Matt's words:

"I am a man, husband, father, and son of God who has learned and is learning what it means to truly know and be known by Jesus. I am learning how to let that connection with him flow out of me and bring Holy Spirit revival to each person in my life, starting with my wife and family and moving out from there.

I have learned this stuff by going through some intense fire. I have known first hand the pain that can come from lack of connection with those around me, from lack of connection with Jesus, and from lack of connection to his mission for me to push his Kingdom forward through the darkness of the world.

Through battling and overcoming a debilitating health condition, financial crisis, and relational strife, I’ve learned how to connect with Jesus and let him Father me into a place of pushing back against that darkness crap. Of not taking “no” for an answer from life. Of being able to truly love my wife from a place of masculine strength and power so that her respect and admiration flow freely without my having to beg and argue for it. Of having joy and confidence even when life circumstances…fight back."

Matt is married to the love of his life, his high school sweetheart. He has two daughters with a third coming soon (as of this first publication). And his yard is overrun by a dog, a rabbit, and two ducks.
