After many years in ministry, Jack Newton realized the desperate need for "established Christians." In Scripture, we are encouraged to walk in the same manner in which we received Jesus. This means we are called to walk and grow in faith. What does such a walk look like? Scripture uses two illustrations: rooted and built.

To continue in the faith that saved us, we need to be rooted in Jesus. To be built up in the faith, we need the proper foundation. The only true foundation is Christ. Once we have the proper foundation, we can be built into a structure that will stand the test of time.

God is faithful and desires to use you in wonderful and powerful ways. This book is intended for the use and edification of Christians, those who have a relationship with the Lord. Remember, you are not alone. God will provide others to help you along the way.

Jack has served in pastoral ministry for over 30 years. He has pastored churches in Texas, Maryland, and Oklahoma. This former Marine is a writer and speaker who has a passion for seeing people come to know and grow in Christ. He is currently serving as a Senior Pastor in Tyler, Texas where he lives with his wife of 34 years, Dana. Jack I proud father of three wonderful children and enjoys spending time with his five grandchildren.
