Joseph Senese was born and raised on the Near West Side of Chicago in the heart of "Little Italy." He attended Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Grade School until 1971. He went on to graduate eighth grade from St. Joseph Catholic School in Downers Grove, Illinois, in 1972. In 1976, Joseph graduated from Benet Academy Catholic High School in Lisle, Illinois. Joseph furthered his formal education at College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, Arizona State in Tempe, Arizona, and Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois, before graduating from Chicago's Columbia College in 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Work history for Joseph includes various positions in the cable television industry, magazine print model, a talent for local television commercials, feature film extra, contributing magazine editor, freelance newspaper writer, fresh produce salesman/distributor, warehouse laborer, prep and reconditioning manager, and Teamster business agent/union organizer. Joseph currently has two published works. The first is the 2022 REVISED and UPDATED version of FUNNY IS FUNNY, a large print/short book that’s long on laughs. The quick read paperback features a random selection of adult-themed Ridiculous Questions, Obnoxious Viewpoints, Inappropriate Thoughts, Bad Ideas, Uncensored Comments, Sarcastic Retorts, and Horrible Advice. It's sure to tickle a funny bone or, at the very least, hit a humorous nerve!
