Jerri Young

I have lived in Alaska for 43 years. I came here with my family from Oregon and have loved being an Alaskan. The beauty of Alaska excites me every day. In addition to raising a family and working in the legal field I have dabbled in writing and have always wanted to write children's books. Upon retirement and the birth of my first granddaughter I realized this was the perfect time to begin my writing adventure. My inspiration for my first book, Blair Has Messy Hair, came from watching my son and his interactions with his first born child.
