The Great Commandment, to love God and love people, defines the true identity of those who are called his church. Great Commandment love is at the heart of who we are and what we do.

As we experience how we've been loved by Christ, we are freed up to love others and meet them at their point of need. Philippians 4:19 says, "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen."

Our God is a need-meeting God! We are intimately known and cared for by our Heavenly Father through Christ. He is meeting our needs and empowering us to then go care for the needs of others. By the power of the Spirit, we are able to be the hands and feet of Christ and bring reconciliation to a hurting world.
