She is married to Jeff, the love of her life, Mom to two adult children whom she treasures, and blessed to be "Mimi" to three grandchildren, which is now her favorite role in life.

She enjoys writing, raising and releasing Monarchs, hiking, gardening, singing, and traveling.

She cares deeply for those who have had trauma or dementia touch their lives.
