J.W. Lynn graduated in 2007 with Honors from the University of California, Riverside, with a Bachelor's in Creative Writing with a Fiction emphasis. She has been working as a freelance writer, writer-for-hire, journalist, ghostwriter, illustrator, and publishing director since early 2013. "Creekside Dogs" and "Garlands: Triptych" -- both released in November 2019 -- are her first publications as author.
The characters of J.W. Lynn's works often go through deep emotional changes and dramatic events. She delights in using children as main characters, showing that children's self-discovery and inner struggles are no less complex than their adult counterparts.
"Creekside Dogs" is a novella that focuses on the relationship between a numb-hearted uncle and his estranged -- and orphaned -- nephew. "Creekside Dogs" was Lynn's graduating paper.
Lynn is currently working on a fantasy-fiction trilogy. The initial title is "From Ciricho Fall". It is expected to be due out in 2021.
