Ryan Montgomery

My inspiration to write children's books came when reading books to my kids at bedtime. Our favorite kind to read were the books that interacted with us. This was the first spark. My first book, "You're Bigfoot," came to me while I was teaching... I was having a hard time getting my kindergarten class to settle down, when I decided to make up a story and do the movements of this story. This story came off the top of my head at the moment. Every student went silent and performed the simple movements I was doing as the story went on. After class, I was struck by how great that worked- that I ran into my office and wrote down the story before my next class came in 5 minutes. "You're Bigfoot" was born.

I am currently a Physical Education teacher a wrestling coach. I am also a seller on eBay with 2 stores that my wife and I run. If your interested check out the "Little Red Cowboy," and "Little Pink Cowgirl."
