John J. Raspanti

John J. Raspanti was born in Covina, CA in 1958. Raspanti labored at a job he hated for over 30 years, but when time allowed, he wrote. He began writing for www.doghouseboxing (thanks to Anthony Cocks) and a few years later, www.maxboxing.com, assuming the role of lead writer and editor. In 2016, Raspanti, co-authored (along with Dennis Taylor) Intimate Warfare:The True Story of The Arturo Gatti And Micky Ward Boxing Trilogy a amazon.com bestseller. The book received rave reviews. Blood On My Notebook:Dispatches From The World of Professional Boxing is a collection of Raspanti's most popular work, including ringside reports, features, history and insight.
