David L. Softley

David Softley is a Canadian author and speaker who shares farm fresh takes on life and leadership from the misadventures with his chickens and children. Prior to becoming one of the world’s foremost authorities on chicken leadership poetry, David was an award winning television director and banker. He has a BA in Communications and an MBA in Marketing and Strategy.

Born and raised in Calgary Alberta Canada, David now lives in North Carolina. Among his achievements are winning the heart of his wife Jennifer, directing an EMMY award winning television show for NBC in Las Vegas, and being a homeschooling father of seven children including five daughters!
