A regular visitor to his birthplace in London, England, David lives most of the year in Victoria B.C, in beautiful British Columbia. David has worked in theatre, film, and music as an actor, director, and writer. Trained and performed under contract, with the Actor’s Workshop in Vancouver, through the mid- seventies. He later established, owned and operated the Screen Actor’s Studio in Victoria B.C. from 1985 - 2015. He is a founding member of both CineVic, the Society for Independent Filmmakers and the Victoria Film Festival, for which he still currently serves as a board member. Following numerous credits as a lyric writer for commercials with Little Mountain Sound Studios (Vancouver). He penned lyrics for songs recorded by Michael Buble, Lee Greenwood, B.T.O. and others. Awarded country song of the year in 1987 for ‘Ordinary People’ recorded by The Bootleg Band. Also has written scripts for full length, short film and animation projects. David continues to work on plays, that include a libretto and lyrics for a workshop musical based on the music of composer Erik Satie. "The Teleporter's Handbook,'a series of modern fables and short stories published in the Summer of 2018, has recently been followed by ’Picasso On a Napkin, a collection of his lyric.poems, songs, raps and chants..
