Tom Garry is a teacher and writer, originally from York. He has taught in the UK and Poland in both primary and secondary schools, and currently works as a Deputy Headteacher and heads a Teaching School in London. Tom is an NCETM accredited Professional Development Lead and Primary Mastery Specialist, and has written ‘Mastery in Primary Mathematics’ for Bloomsbury. Tom has also written for Pearson, Oxford University Press and Third Space Learning, writing both classroom and professional development material. Tom is a Churchill Fellow, recently researching support for early-career teachers in the United States, and is also a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
