Sue Wambolt has had a passion for writing and working with children since she was a young girl, which inspired her to subsequently earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. She is a wife and mother of four adult children and a grandmother to nine! She first wrote Pete the Hungry Pig in 1993 but, after a series of tragic events (the loss of a baby, the death of her mother at a young age and a house fire), the one and only copy of story went missing for decades. That is, until the winter of 2018, when the one and only manuscript was discovered in an old file cabinet in her basement. The story was written when she had a young family and, now, she is the grandmother to nine - what better time to get it published! Pete the Hungry Pig is a real labor of love. Sue is currently publishing a sequel to Pete the Hungry Pig titled Gabby the Acrobatic Goat due to come out by the fall of 2020.
