Born in drear November, 1946, Rossman served as a reporter and Editor on various Michigan papers for 20 years. Writing fiction since 1993, she created the Hunters or tautschen, civilized carnivores who live under their own Credo and Code (Hunt Law). She has 14 published short stories to her credit, 2 novels, and one novella. Her poetry has appeared in the Dan River Anthology 2000 and in Barnes and Nobles' "Songs of Honor." Her first story about the Hunters--"The Old Hunter"-- won publication in an online story contest sponsored by by Jack Eisenhower. She is still writing short story fiction about her favorite people. Her latest story is titled "Opening Day."
