DR. LOTFI BASHIR

Dr. Lotfi Bashir is a pediatrician who practices in Selma, Alabama. Dr. Bashir was inspired by the "Reach Out and Read" program to write children's books. He gives these books to the children who come to his office for their "Well Checkups" to inspire them and to set their imaginations on fire. The main character, Petey Pots and Pans is his favorite Chihuahua dog. Petey Pots and Pans hated his name, but through his adventures with his trusty companion, Ducky Bobby, his name became his main source of strength.
