Maheen Rasul

Maheen’s is a story of a person who cannot be boxed up,

who cannot conform. She wants to play her part in making

this world a better place-a world governed by cooperation,

not competition.

Though just nineteen, Maheen is very passionate. She

believes that dreams are divine gifts. She started writing

when she was a child and believes in the healing power of

words. Other than being a writer, she is also a voracious

reader. She hungrily devours books of various genres and

is really possessive about her plethora of books. She has

also been debating since she was a child and firmly

believes in speaking right over easy. In her free time, she

listens to soulful music and loves to travel and discover

nature.

Maheen is obsessed with philosophy. She ponders over

the bigger questions regarding existence and metaphysics.

She is a hard-core feminist and an avid mountaineer.

When not reading, writing or ranting about feminism and

social constructs, she can be found in the various coffee-

shops of her beloved city-Islamabad-deeply engrossed in

heartfelt, intense conversation
