Dave Szalay

Dave Szalay is a writer, award-winning illustrator/designer, and full-time university professor. He loves stories of history and culture, as much as fantasy and folklore. He is the author of Take Back My Yak and has illustrated several children’s books with more forthcoming. He and his wife Krista, with their cat Luna, live along a quiet stream surrounded by woods and wildlife near the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Their two sons live nearby with their growing families including 5 grandkids.
