There is an ancient spirit that flows from the soul of our ancestral past; this is our Northern Pagan Folk Soul. There were qualities forged in our Northern Pagan ancestors which embraced strength, courage, valiancy, passion, honor; our Folk Soul, it is eternal and recognizes those qualities that are in common with it. Our ancient, ancestral, Gods and Goddesses were handed down from generation to generation in poetic lore and stories which imbued the future with those Folk Soul qualities of our Pagan ancestors and were written into a blood memory that still courses through our veins today. Northern Nature sings her passion to us as they are carried on the beautiful voice of maiden Freyja. Midsummer celebration carried to us on the clear mountain rivers and lakes. They are given to us in the rhythmic drum beat as we experience the colder temperatures of Samhain and Yule. The first snowfall purifies Nature with a blanket of white, and each snowfall covers blood in the snow. The bitter temperatures after Yule which harden each individual but teach compassion as well. For most of their lives Scott and Billie Jo Carlson called home those ancient Northern mountains and the eternal spirits they offer to those willing to listen and see. Our ancient Gods and Goddesses, Folk Soul, ways and beliefs have been concealed from Northern Pagans of today. Scott and Billie-Jo bring them to life again, placing them in the unfiltered light they once were seen in by our Northern Pagan ancestors. To be whole, each person must embrace their entire past and recognize that it still lives in them today. Scott and Billie-Jo awaken that blood memory and place it outside of time so you become one with your Northern Pagan ancestors.
