Sandra E Manning

Sandra E Manning is an author who tends to 'reframe' a world she often struggles to make sense of through the prism of her humour tinted spectacles.

Floored by the death of her husband in 2014, Sandra put her well- developed sense of humour to good use after a botched suicide attempt put paid to her plans to join him. She went on to develop a website aimed at helping other widows find a way of dealing with their grief using laughter and humour as a therapeutic aid.

The Funny Thing About Being a Widow? is the first in a series of three books about issues pertinent to widows but often looked at from a humorous perspective. The second book which looks at dating sites and widows who negotiate them is due for release in mid-2020.
