It was as if, an invisible satanic and evil hand cause him to leave school at the last days, when he was supposed to had prepared for the examination at the age of sixteen (16) years. So he could not pursue his education carrier at this point of his life.
So, within those period and stages of his life Johannes Dery went through seemingly difficult difficult times and moments of his life. He stayed in the house two full years without schooling,
it was as if all hell was set loose against him. But he was still determined to educate himself and to pursue his dream of becoming an engineer in the future. So, he work very hard and tirelessly and gathered the needed resources and also bought the necessary tools for his education.
In spite of all the difficulty and the seemingly insurmountable circumstances and challenges which had confronted him as a teenager, he went back to school. At this period in his life, he was working and schooling at the same time.
So within period of three and half years he was able to write both N.V.T.I grade two (2) and City and guilds with good grades and passes. Whiles preparing to write the intermediate examination which would enable him to get entrance into polytechnic in pursuit of his dream of becoming an engineer, he had a divine encounter from the Lord Jesus Christ to halt his educational ambition and dream and to totally yield and to focus on the higher calling of ministry (which is the Kingdom business).
Without much I do, he eventually yield to the call of God upon his life. And from 1992 to 1994, he had been in the forefront of the major revival movement of God in his community Kanda.
