Grant H Williams

Grant Williams has a BS degree in Computer Science and has worked for over 30 years as a software engineer in the aerospace and telecommunications industries. When his niece's children reached the age when they could start learning about computers, Grant thought that the Raspberry Pi would be the ideal child-friendly computer to teach them with, and that Scratch would be a great introductory coding language. He set up a "Raspberry Pi Coding Lab" in their home, and started teaching them how to code using Scratch. Driven by the kids' enthusiasm, that activity evolved into him writing a book on the subject.
