Madlyn Epstein Steinhart has been writing poetry since the age of eight. It gave her an internal voice when she felt powerless to speak out. Madlyn is a retired New York City public school teacher, a grant writer, and a media literacy specialist. She serves on the board of the National Telemedia Council. Put Your Boots on and Dance in the Rain is her debut poetry collection.
The author is donating part of the proceeds from the online sales of her book to Paws for Purple Hearts, an organization whose mission aligns with her purpose for publishing her poetry – healing hearts and minds.
