I have spent the majority of my life buried in addiction. What started out as social, my use of opiates progressed into a habit and then to full-blown addiction.

Heroin stripped me of everything that I cared about, until I no longer cared at all. Not even about my own life. Homeless, hopeless and on the run from the cops, i decided one night to take my own life. Fortunately for me, God had other plans.

I did not realize it at the time, but God was prepping me for today. This moment. This book. After recovering from my heroin addiction, i made the decision to allow God to shine through me.

Recovering from one of the lowest places that any human could be, I am now a loving father to my 4 amazing children and husband to my rock star of a wife. I am a college graduate. I am a business owner. I am an author. And, I have spent countless hours and tears putting my story on paper so that all who read it can find hope and inspiration.

Recovery is very possible. I am just one of millions who have triumphed over their addiction.
