When I was a kid I had the greatest group of friends. and still do. We were like a combination of The Goonies and The Scooby Doo gang. We were always going on some great adventure at least in our minds we would play by the grove by my house. I would always say that my childhood was like some kind of kid movie. I always wanted to illustrate and write a children's book, but could never commit to the characters that I would create. So I decided to create a group of kids with similar characteristics and personalities of my childhood friends, and base the story around some of our so-called adventures. With the help of my wife we created "The Grove Dogs."
