Michael D. Carter

Michael D. Carter served as a pastor in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod from 1991-2009. He served congregations in Memphis, Tennessee and Milwaukee, Wisconsin and was a full time correctional chaplain at the two jails in St. Louis, Missouri.

He is a graduate of the following institutions. St. Paul’s College, Concordia, Missouri (1983 A.A.) Concordia University, River Forest, Illinois (1986 B.A.) Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Indiana, (1991 M.Div)

He also maintains a blog. Jesus, our living hope. (Jesusmyhope.wordpress.com)

Michael resides in Anaheim California where he attends classes and continues to write.

He has taken an acting class and has written scripts for performances. Michael believes that he is a better writer than actor. Even though he's acted, he does not believe that's he'd win an Oscar.

His favorite role was that of a grumpy drunken Santa from a skit he wrote; "Grumpy Santa."
