M Barry started her career at the BBC, where she worked in radio, publishing and for websites, including the first ever Teletubbies website. Following a career in magazine development, she co-founded a creative agency, where she had fun making a Lovie-award winning kids' character brand with an app, website and album, as well as creating best-selling international magazines for publishers and developing products for major entertainment brands ranging from SpongeBob to Hello Kitty.
She also developed and edited the worldwide illustrated story magazine, Storytime, for which she wrote over 600 stories and poems. For Storytime, she put a modern spin on classic tales, celebrated stories from all over the world and came up with exciting new adventures and characters for children.
