Bette Bono is the author of the historical fiction, time travel novels The Better Angels and Fear Itself and the short story collections Neighbors & Other Stories and The Second Chance Shop & Other Stories. Before beginning her writing career, Bette worked as a political analyst in Washington, D.C., then earned a law degree from Harvard and relocated to Connecticut. After a decade of work as an attorney, Bette turned to public school teaching, serving both in the classroom and as a teachers' union steward. Bette lives in Connecticut with her family.
