Andy Chard

Andy Chard is a rail enthusiast from Manchester who has been writing professionally since 2018. He has written more than a dozen railway-related books (see below) and contributes articles and photographs to Britain's railway magazines. In 2021 Andy was appointed as Book Editor at the respected railway publisher Platform 5, where he works with other railway authors and photographers. His autobiographical 2023 book Winners & Losers recounts railway-related tales from his younger days, which ultimately led to his successful career as a writer today.
