Constance Lindgreen

Constance Lindgreen writes short fiction, occasional essays, and poetry. She's inordinately pleased with a special mention from the Pushcart Prize and grateful for recognition in various competitions in France and the US.

Living in the US, England, France, and Denmark left her with a serious case of wanderlust, a love of new languages, customs, and foods -- and an attachment to friends worldwide. She treasures her far-flung family, books both serious and silly, music, the garden, and simple pleasures.

A novel set in 1850s Denmark, memoirs from 19th-century Ohio, a novella set in contemporary Japan, and a collection of short stories are currently vying for attention. Recently, they've had to make room for a children's story about a little French ant who suddenly finds herself in Denmark. Voilą! The Adventures of Mimi la Fourmi is available in ten languages. Now it's on to the next project because -- well, just because.
