Dawn C Crouch

Dawn C. Crouch is an award-winning novelist, screenwriter, ballet educator, and proud New Orleans native.

A former professional dancer with Houston Ballet and founder of Garage Ballet®, she has spent decades teaching dancers of all ages, helping students and teachers understand not just what to do, but why movement succeeds or fails.

Her fiction blends medical mysteries, historical intrigue, urban legends, and speculative fiction, often inspired by real locations and the stories hidden within them. Her screenwriting credits include two optioned scripts, and one of her screenplays finished in the Top Ten for Action/Adventure in the PAGE International Screenwriting Awards.

Whether writing post-apocalyptic medical thrillers or practical ballet instruction, Dawn is drawn to the same question: how knowledge, discipline, and resilience help ordinary people accomplish extraordinary things.
