Ismael Silva is a pastor, theologian, and church planter who has spent more than two decades building the Kingdom in places the institutional machine forgot.
He has planted churches on two continents, discipled thousands of leaders, and baptized nearly seven hundred people — work that was not always welcomed by the institutions he served. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Theology and a Master's degree combining theology, evangelism, culture, and leadership. He has delivered over 1,000 talks to audiences worldwide, composed more than 30 original songs, and authored multiple published books.
He is a two-time Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World Champion, having achieved Double Gold in international competition — a discipline that shaped the same tenacity, clarity, and refusal to quit that runs through every page of his writing.
Ismael writes from the conviction that the local church — messy, unglamorous, and entirely indestructible — is worth fighting for.
He lives in Auckland, New Zealand with his wife Jackie, a doctor and elite personal trainer, and their family.
He believes the Kingdom of God spreads not through marketing budgets or institutional leverage, but through ordinary people willing to love each other well in ordinary places.
