Elizabeth Beals

Elizabeth Beals is a mom of two children who live in the suburbs of North Carolina. When not working full time in Corporate America, she juggles life with her children, husband, and traveling for work. Elizabeth holds a bachelor degree in accounting and spent a brief amount of time in public accounting. It wasn’t until she had her first child and began exploring the world of children’s books, where Elizabeth realized there was a need for more fun books covering the financial world. Realizing there is a huge gap in financial literacy, in and out of school systems, Elizabeth developed her characters to help explain the tough topic of money to her children. When her children showed a fascination with her story and characters, Elizabeth knew she was traveling a very interesting path. With much encouragement from her eight-year-old son, she completed the first book in her financial series so he could bring it to school for a test run. After hearing the positive feedback from the classmates and teachers, Elizabeth decided to pursue the publication of her book. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her husband and kids. She also enjoys photography, painting with acrylic, and playing fetch with her dog, Chip.
