Raised in Africa to missionary parents...snakes, boarding schools, and travel became a way of life. Attending Christian schools almost exclusively for 15 years gave him a solid grip on Biblical doctrine. After a divorce ended his twenty years of preaching, driving an eighteen wheeler became his way of life.

Combining the challenges of life with biblical principles of living, the author enjoys relating failures of his own, to uplifting promises from God’s word.

From snakes and blizzards, to equipment failures and near wrecks, the author shares real life experiences. Having spent twenty years as an avid hunter and horseman, adrenal pumping elk hunts give way to misbehaving horses.

With both humor and serious moments, the author shares how living the challenges of life can build the kind of character that God is looking for.

Now retired, the author has much more time to relax, reflect, and to write.. With six kids and 22 grandkids, life keeps going at a rapid pace. And that is good.
