Michael Bunch

Michael Bunch was born in 1949 in Waltham, Massachusetts, the third son of Donald and Anna Bunch. Much of his early life was spent traveling nationally and international as his father spent his career in the US Air Force. Michael has one brother John, who is one year older and one sister Mary Ann who is his twin. Michael is married to his delightful wife, the former Janice Amacanim. Michael is a licensed architect and interior designer. He currently lives in Bryan, Texas, and teaches at Blinn College. In 2014 he earned a Doctorate in Architectural Philosophy PhD from Texas A&M University. In 1992 he earned a Doctor of Education in Higher Education, Ed.D. from the University of Houston, Houston, Texas. In 1988 he earned a Master of Architecture (Extreme Environments—Outer Space Design) from the University of Houston. In 1986 he earned a Master of Education (Higher Education) from The University of Houston. In 1976 he earned a Master of Architecture Design from Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Oklahoma. In 1973 he received a Bachelor of Environmental Design from Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas. In 1970 he earned an Associate of Arts from Merced Junior College; Merced, California. He served thirty-two years in the USAF Reserve and traveled extensively around the world.
