Russell Cederberg

Russell was born in Chicago in 1952, the grandson of four Scandinavian immigrants. He began writing poetry and songs when he was fourteen, but those efforts quickly expanded to short stories. Russell's first book project was a Young Adult novel he began creating in 1985, but his publishing efforts really didn't kick in until 2018, when he finally published that first novel and began writing books full time.

Russell has now published fifty six books, including historical fiction, general fiction, a cozy murder mystery series, modern Christian fantasy and a collection of sixteen Christian inspirational books.

Russell grew up on the beach in San Diego California and has also lived in Portland Oregon, Bend Oregon, Seattle Washington, Neptune Beach Florida and was based in Stockholm Sweden for a year and a half. He and his wife also spent six months traveling in England and Wales and have traveled throughout Western Europe over the past 25 years. They have both had the pleasure of meeting and maintaining relationships with many of their direct relatives in Sweden, Denmark, Croatia and the Yucatán Peninsula. Russell is currently living in Ponte Vedra Beach Florida. He and Lisa have been married for over forty years.

Besides being an author, Russell is an avid genealogist, having built more than eighty family trees for friends and family. He is regularly involved in life coaching, discipling and mentoring, as well as dream interpretation.
