I am a professional Chef, who has worked and lived in the area of Mystic, Connecticut for the past decades. Although I have always wanted to be a writer, it wasn't until a near death experience, a few years past, made me realize that I need to bear down and make my asperations come true.
Writing has opened many other doors for me, and since I finished my first book, I have become the Co-Chairman of the Southeast Connecticut's CAPA. Connecticut Authors and Publishers Association. I also host a television show on our local station SEC-TV titled 'Books and Beyond', on which I showcase local authors and artists -- regular people with extraordinary talents.
I have been a life long fan of mystery novels, anything Charlie Chan, Boston Blackie, Poirot, and, of course, Sherlock Holmes. My books all fall in that category. Though completely fictional, they are based on the life and times of William Gillette. The man who brought Holmes to America on stage in the early 20th century. I have woven as much historical facts, and people who lived in that era into my stories as I have my imagination. You will find it both entertaining and enlightening.
