Kate Vredevoogd is a writer, ceremonialist and shamanic practitioner who grew up under the looming conifers of the Pacific Rainforest with her loving parents and her many animal friends. After receiving B.A. degrees in both Linguistics and Spanish, she set off on an adventure to Spain, where she lived for ten years, and where she published her first two books, From the Same Quiver; A Confessional Tale of Wanderlust, Friendship, and the Pursuit of Self-Identity and Words of Wellbeing, A to Z. When her time in Europe felt complete, she flew across two oceans and moved to the island of Kaua’i, with her Spanish pup, Laila. On Kaua’i, she published her third book, With Intention; A VSED Story, and added a second pup, Tika, to her family. She spends her time immersing herself in nature, reading, writing, and praying, all in the best way she knows how.
